The Capacity Planning Service, or CPS, delivers tangible and measurable value to the user, mainly through asset utilization improvements and test CAPEX reduction. The CNtest CPS, along with the CMS and CSS, provides the user a capacity optimization engine to improve margins and profitability. This service will be used mostly by larger enterprise chip and test services companies, who manage many devices and test systems, respectively.

The underlying proprietary algorithms of the CPS take into account the many equipment configuration rules and process execution constraints to generate plans that align to business objectives, such as CAPEX minimization or demand serviceability. As illustrated in the screenshot below, the CPS produces optimized configuration and loading plans based on device test requirements and business objectives selected by the user. The planning engine can efficiently and optimally aggregate the test requirements from the large chip company's hundreds of devices, or the even larger set of requirements from the test house�s hundreds of customers, finally enabling the economies of scale that the test industry has been seeking.
